A Voog website can quite literally be created within just fifteen minutes. The Voog builder allows you to customise your website however you want, and you can translate your sites content into fifteen different languages. Even better, with Voog (Previously Edicy) everything happens on-site, which means there is no need for a confusing interface. As any Edicy review will tell, you this is a very good thing!

Convinced? Then let’s take a look at how to make an Voog website in just a few easy steps. Making a free website won’t terrify you any more.

How to Make an Voog Website

Getting Started

To get started, you simply need to head on over to Voog.com, before entering an email address.
You are then taken to the design menu.

Using the Design Menu

On the design menu, you will see a row of website designs at the bottom of the page. These designs are made by industry professionals, and all of them look really neat and sophisticated. Simply choose a design to start editing. As soon as you choose a design, you will instantly be able to start editing.

Change the Text

Now that you have chosen your design, you can start editing right away. As you edit, the design menu will still be viewable at the bottom of your screen. If you want to change the text, all you need to do is click on the existing text, delete it and enter new text. It’s that easy.

Add Pictures

Adding pictures with the Voog builder is also really simple. All you need to do is click on the “Media” tab on the toolbar at the bottom of the page. This media tab is actually your media library; it is where you pictures and videos will be stored. You can upload as many pictures as you want at any one time. Any picture you upload will be dropped into your media library. If there is a particular picture you want to include on your website, simply drag and drop it from your media library to the position you’d like it on your page. You can then click on it to edit it. This means resizing it, stretching it, adding a caption and so on.

Add a New Page

Naturally, you will want more than one page on your website. There are actually two ways you can add a new page with your Voog builder. The first is to click the “+ Add” icon that you will see next to your existing pages. The second way of adding a new page is to head on over to your “Settings” tab before clicking “Structure.” Then click the “+ Add new page” tab. To reorganise your pages, you again need to head over to Settings and then Structure. Here you can drag your pages into an order of your choosing. You can also delete, add and edit pages here as well as think about plugin development .

Add an Address

Making a website with Voog really is that simple. As mentioned, there is no confusing interface, and everything is drag and drop. To add your web address, you need to click on “Site” on your toolbar, before clicking “Addresses.” You can either buy a new address, choose a free address, or use one of your existing addresses. Once you have done this, you can click “Preview” to see how your shiny new website looks!
